As announced by the Infinity Nikki developers, several changes and optimizations will soon be coming to the game. They are as follows:

Smoother Whimcycle controls

The Whimcycle is Infinity Nikki's fastest mode of transportation and is integral to certain aspects of the game, such as solving specific puzzles or collecting specific Whimstars. However, many have reported issues regarding its controls, which they feel can be quite clunky, especially on mobile devices. To fix this issue, the developers announced they will be optimizing the Whimcycle's controls in such a way that operating it will be much smoother.

Additionally, accidentally falling into the water while riding a Whimcycle will no longer cause it to disappear. Instead, players will now respawn in riding mode with the cycle.

Furthermore, players can soon ride the Whimcycle in more areas of Miraland and won't be restricted to just Breezy Meadow (like it is currently).

Easier tutorials

The tutorials at the start of the game will be optimized to make it easier and faster for new players to understand the gameplay mechanics. Overly long tutorials will be cut short and explained in a more concise manner so as to make it less confusing for new players.

Outfit recommendations to be added to Styling Challenges

Soon to be added is a new feature that will automatically recommend outfits for Styling Challenges based on the required types and stats. This will make it easier and faster for players to complete the challenges. After this feature is implemented, the highest-scoring outfit will automatically be picked. Of course, players are still free to change the outfits themselves if they so want.

Infinity Nikki will soon change the material refresh timings such that all materials will now refresh immediately after the daily server reset (instead of the current 24-hour refresh window).

Taking photographs is a very popular feature in Infinity Nikki, but unfortunately, players can only take photographs in horizontal (landscape) mode. Luckily, the game's developers are currently working on adding a vertical (portrait) photo mode to make for a much more immersive photo-taking experience.

Customized PC key bindings

Players will soon be able to customize and set up their key bindings on PC. Key bindings can be changed for actions such as jumping, plunging, and sprinting on PC once this feature is added.

Mini-map Precise Tracking optimized

The Precise Tracking feature will be optimized so that the directions for tracking are now clearer. Currently, the feature does not display the tracked object on the mini-map, leaving players with no choice but to keep opening the large-scale map to check for directions. The introduction of this feature will make precise tracking a lot easier by displaying the tracked object directly on the mini-map.

60 FPS feature for mobile devices

Another upcoming optimization includes the addition of a 60 FPS feature for mobile devices. Currently, mobile devices are capped at 30 FPS, which a lot of players have expressed issues with. Developers are now working on the option to improve the frame rate for mobile devices and add a toggle-able 60 FPS option.
