Wuthering Waves has a plethora of characters with distinct looks and combat mechanics. This is one of the main reasons the open-world gacha RPG published by Kuro Games has achieved significant success in less than a month. Another standout feature of a character is their birthday. Each of them celebrates it in different months with some months having more than one character celebrating their birthdays.

This article provides a complete list of character birthdays in Wuthering Waves and a brief description of what each of them do combat-wise in-game.

Sanhua is the only character that currently has a birthday in January. She is a 4-star Glacio character who is one of the best Sub DPSs in the game as of this writing.

February

Similar to Sanhua, February features Taoqi as the only character to have a birthday this month. She is a 4-star Havoc Support character and provides shielding and healing.

March

Encore is a member of the Black Shores (Image via Kuro Games)

Encore is the only character with a birthday in March as of Version 1.0. She is a 5-star Fusion Main DPS character with a unique playstyle revolving around charged ranged attacks.

April

Jianxin is a wandering monk while Chixia is a Patroller in Jinzhou (Image via Kuro Games)

April is one of the four months that consists of more than one character having a birthday. Jianxin and Chixia have their birthdays in April. Jianxin is a 5-star Aero Sub DPS/Support hybrid while Chixia is a 4-star Fusion Main DPS.

Verina, the 5-star Spectro healer, celebrates her birthday in May. She is one of the strongest characters in the game right now and is a defining part of most meta team comps.

Aalto, one of the two confirmed members of the Black Shores, celebrates his birthday in June. He is a 4-star Aero Sub-DPS with a very interesting playstyle that incorporates taunts and mist-like projections of himself.

July

Calcharo, the leader of the Ghost Hounds, has his birthday in July. He is one of the most popular characters in Wuthering Waves right now as he is a powerful Main DPS character with a cool and unique look.

August

August is another month that features two characters having birthdays. Lingyang and Danjin celebrate their birthdays in August. Lingyang is a 5-star Glacio Main DPS while Danjin is a 4-star Havoc Main DPS.

September

Baizhi and Yinlin have birthdays in September. Baizhi is a 4-star Glacio healer that can be obtained for free by pulling in the Tidal Chorus banner. Yinlin is the latest Wuthering Waves character. She is a 5-star Electro Sub-DPS that deals an immense amount of burst damage.

October

Yuanwu and Yangyang have birthdays in October. Both of them are 4-star Sub-DPS characters that can be obtained for free. Yuanwu can be obtained by completing the Tower of Adversity: Stable Zone while Yangyang is given for free by the game. The former uses the Electro attribute while the latter uses the Aero attribute.

November

Mortefi is the only character to celebrate a birthday in November. He is an extremely powerful 4-star Fusion Sub-DPS and has a high emphasis on fast Concerto rotations and damage buffs to his allies.

December

Jiyan is the General of the Midnight Rangers (Image via Kuro Games)

The final month of the year, December, sees the Midnight Ranger General, Jiyan, celebrate his birthday. One of the most beloved characters in the game, Jiyan was the first ever featured character in a limited-time event banner and is also the best Main DPS in the game as of this writing.
