Zenless Zone Zero stats define the combat and characters in the game. There are many aspects to the combat in its new Gacha title, and players can get easily punished if they don't fully understand the basic mechanics of enemies and characters. Stats, being the primary thing to look for in any character-building game, take the front seat in this action-RPG.

Before going into stats, it is important to take note of one of the most important combat mechanics of Zenless Zone Zero called Daze.

Daze is the stun meter that can be identified with the yellow bar on an enemy, just below the primary green health bar. Once the Daze bar fills up, enemies get stunned, allowing your character to deal significantly increased damage via chain attacks, elemental reactions, skills, ultimate abilities, and more. Hence, filling up the Daze bar is important in any fight to make things easier.

While the Daze meter of an enemy can be filled up with basic attacks, a few stats will help you accumulate Daze faster.

Zenless Zone Zero stats and what they do

Here is a list of all stats in Zenless Zone Zero, and a summary of what each of them does in combat:

• Impact: Determines the amount of 'Daze' you will put on enemies. A higher 'Impact' number means a higher accumulation of 'Daze' with each hit.
• PEN (penetration): Ignores an amount of DEF on enemies to deal damage directly to their health. The number in your PEN stat will ignore that much DEF on an enemy.
• PEN ratio: The number in your PEN ratio will ignore that amount of DEF percentage on an enemy.
• Anomaly Mastery: Determines how quickly an Anomaly build-up accumulates on an enemy. Anomaly build-ups are reactions that can be activated by different elements. For example, Shock comes with two Electric, while Assault comes from two Physical, alongside Burn or Corruption from two Fire or two Ether, respectively.
• Anomaly Proficiency: Increases the damage of the Anomaly reaction, and damage taken by the enemy after activating the reaction.
• Energy Regen: Determines how quickly a skill refreshes. Higher Energy Regen will mean quick replenishment of the skill countdown. Note that Energy Regen doesn't count towards a character's Ultimate ability in Zenless Zone Zero.
• ATK: Determines the outgoing damage from a character.
• DEF: Determines how much less damage can be taken based on a percentage.
• HP: Determines the health value of a character.
• Crit rate: Determines how often a character can strike a critical hit.
• Crit Damage: Determines how much bonus damage a critical hit can deal.
