Alliances in Marvel Snap: New in-game feature functions explained

Nuverse promised the launch of Alliances in Marvel Snap in one of its previous patch notes, and the community couldn't wait for it. A recent (July 30, 2024) update announced the arrival of one of the most-anticipated in-game features, which will enhance the social experience for the players.

You can now create your own community or join other people's Alliances, working with your friends to complete the bounty and win rewards. Here's every detail you need to know about Alliances in Marvel Snap.


What is Alliances in Marvel Snap?

This is a new in-game feature that will help you connect with your friends and play together.

Creating or joining an Alliance has various benefits:

  • You can complete the Alliance-specific Bounties to get rewards.
  • Use the Alliance chat to talk to your mates and strategize your gameplay.
  • Help each other build decks and celebrate the victories and the rewards.

How to create or join Alliances in Marvel Snap?

You can join the Alliances after completing the Recruit Season Pass. Once you've completed that, you can search for the Alliances in Marvel Snap you're looking for by ID, tag, or name, and you can use filters to find the team you are trying to join.

You can also create an Alliance yourself and build a community from scratch. Follow the steps provided below to do so:

  • Step 1: Launch the game and look at the bottom right corner for the Alliance menu (on PC, it's on the top menu bar).
  • Step 2: Once the Alliance screen pops up, select the Create option.
  • Step 3: Give your Alliance in Marvel Snap a three-letter tag and a unique name.
  • Step 4: Select the Emblem, set a background for the Alliance screen, write a description for potential recruits, set minimum collection level and rank, select whether applications need approval or auto-accepted, select the primary language and search labels, and confirm.

What are Bounties in Marvel Snap?

Bounties are an aspect of Alliances that helps you and your allies win rewards. Each player chooses from various Bounties with different rarities and point values and can select three Bounties they want to complete and earn the rewards.

However, if you see a new Bounty you want to do instead of the ones you've selected, you'll get chances to swap up to three Bounties a week. You can complete the Bounties for both personal and Alliance-based rewards.

The points collected by completing Bounties will contribute to the progress bars, helping you earn personal and group rewards. The Alliance Leaderboard, on the other hand, will keep track of the top weekly contributors. These leaderboards will refresh every week, along with the Bounty rewards.
