In a piece of news that will delight PS4 owners, American e-commerce giant Amazon has announced that it will start selling a media remote that’s exclusively for the PS4, officially licensed by Sony, in the future.
The PDP Universal media remote, as it’s called, is available on the website for pre-order.
The remote won’t put a big dent in owners pockets and is available for just $29.99, with its release date expected to be October 31st. The official licensing that Amazon obtained from Sony is a huge victory for the company.
Amazon describes the device as “convenient” and boasts of “hassle-free navigation“. Another highlight of the device is that it can “easily control up to 4 devices“. Of course the remote wouldn’t be complete without “dedicated buttons for PS4 Home and Power“. Quite the package, this remote.
Amazon is also offering a combo of the media remote as well as the DUALSHOCK 4 controller, which comes with a pricetag of $94.98.
Owners have been eagerly expecting a remote for the best selling console ever since its release in November 2013 and now can have their expectations fulfilled by Amazon.
