Amos’ Bow was introduced as a featured weapon in version 1.0 alongside Aquila Favonia in the Epitome Invocation banner. Amos’ Bow focuses primarily on ATK with its sub stat being ATK%. This weapon is good on characters who focus on Normal or Charge Attacking from a distance, as the distance travelled by the arrow increases the damage of it. This weapon carries the will of the huntress who was once the lover of Decarabian, who failed to see the value of freedom she wanted the citizens to have.

How to get Amos’ Bow in Genshin Impact?
Amos’ Bow was featured on the Epitome Invocation twice, once along with Venti and the other with Ganyu. However, this weapon can be obtained from the Standard Banner as well. There is a 1/15 chance that the 5 star you pull from your standard banner is an Amos’ Bow. There is also a chance for getting Amos’ Bow upon failing a 75/25 on the weapons banner. Alternatively, if the bow is featured on Epitome Invocation, you can guarantee it by setting an Epitomized Path.

Appearance
Every weapon has two forms, one when it is summoned and one when it is ascended. Upon ascending the weapon receives an upgrade in its design. Amos’ Bow is in the shape of a bow, with a string on it. It also has a unicorn horn-like part in the front.
Non-Ascended
Before ascension, the bow has a lot of shades of purple. The coating around the horn, the string, some parts of the handle, are all purple.
Ascended
Upon ascension, the weapon becomes more lustrous. All the purple sections light up and are replaced by white or a light blue colour. The handle of the sword becomes indigo. The covering of the horn goes from purple to white and a little bit of light blue on the edge.
Story
In a barren ancient time, when the now-verdant land was still but a wasteland, a maiden, barefoot in the snow, followed the footsteps of the Lord of the Tower.
He once was her love, but the unforgiving winds could never understand the softness of mortal flesh. He once was her foe, but her hunt was for more than simple vengeance.
"I dreamt of ocean waves and sand, of lush forests and land." "I dreamt of boars playing in berry bushes, of a towering spire." These words she spoke to the God King in a soft tone, but they were left unheard.
Awoken from blind love, she realized she was the only one who spoke with sincerity. For he spoke of love, but was only accompanied by razor winds. He looked down at the bent backs of his subjects in the howling wind, believing it to be a sign of their adoration and unwavering obedience.
It was the era when the Tyrant of the North Wind warred with the Lord of the Tower. The huntress thought herself loved by the slavemaster. At the end of the war, and when the wind of resistance first blew, in the company of a nameless young man, elf, and knight, she scaled the towering spire and challenged the eccentric lord.
"Finally, I shall hold his gaze."
But it was not until the moment when her arrow flew toward him, and when the piercing wind was about to rip her asunder, that she finally realized their distance apart.

FAQs
Who is Amos’ Bow good for?
Amos’ Bow is currently the BiS for Ganyu. However, it is very strong on other characters as well. Many characters benefit from this bow. While Thundering Pulse being her BiS, Yoimia also benefits greatly from this bow. Characters like Fischl also benefit from Amos’ Bow.
Is Amos’ Bow better than Rust?
Rust is an incredibly OP weapon for auto attackers who do not rely on charge shots. However, Amos’ Bow outclasses this weapon simply because of its higher Base Attack. The situation changes with refinements. For characters like Childe or Yoimia, Rust is much better if you have a refinement 3+ Rust compared to Refinement 1 Amos’ Bow. On the other hand, for characters like Ganyu, Amos’ bow is a much better option than Rust, even with a significant difference in refinement.
Can you still get Amos' Bow?
Amos’ Bow is still obtainable even if it is not featured in the Weapon’s Banner. It can be obtained by failing the Weapons Banner pity or by wishing on the Standard Banner.
Final Thoughts
Amos’ Bow is without a doubt the best bow for aimshot Ganyu, despite not being her signature weapon. Due to being an aimshot character, Ganyu properly utilized all of the passives of the weapon. It also lets you ignore bad substats and lets you focus on CRIT as it provides a lot of ATK for the character. Amos’ Bow is also incredibly strong for secondary dps characters like Fischl, letting her provide high off-field dps with minimal effort. While Amos’ bow might not be the BiS for many characters, it is the best overall bow as it covers a lot of characters and provides high attack.
