Anaxa in Honkai Star Rail: Expected release version, path and leaks

Anaxa is an upcoming playable character in Honkai Star Rail who will be released in the Amphoreus region. Amphoreus is the game's next planet, which will be introduced to players in version 3.0, as revealed during the Honkai Star Rail 2.7 livestream. So far, eight new playable characters have been officially showcased, Anaxa being one of them.

Honkai Star Rail Anaxa path, element, and expected release version leaked

Credible leaker Seele Leaks has disclosed information regarding Anaxa's path and element, along with a possible release version. As per the leak, Anaxa might be an Ice Nihility character. So far, there is only one Ice Nihility character in Honkai Star RailL: the 4-star unit Pela. If this leak regarding Anaxa's path and element turns out to be true, Anaxa will be the first 5-star Ice Nihility character to be playable in-game.

Seele Leaks has also hinted at a possible release version for Anaxa, which might be in Honkai Star Rail 3.2. Fellow Chrysos Heir Castorice has also been suggested to be released in this version. The official release date for version 3.2 is not known, but if standard update dates and timings are followed, it should be around March/April 2025.

The first glimpse players got of Anaxa was when HoYoverse revealed him, unlike Amphoreus characters such as Castorice and Phainon, whose designs were already leaked.

Many players are of the opinion that Anaxa looks like Su, a character from Honkai Impact 3rd. Since the Amphoreus Saga of Heroes trailer has already revealed two expy characters from Honkai Impact 3rd who will make their way to Honkai Star Rail, Anaxa being a Su expy is still speculation. Whether he is a Su expy can only be confirmed once more information about him (and his voice actors) is revealed by HoYoverse.

Anaxa is described in the Amphoreus Saga of Heroes trailer as "Anaxagoras the Foolish", a scholar who "has enough knowledge to refute faith". Amphoreus references Greek mythology and Greek gods a lot. Anaxagoras was a Greek philosopher, and it seems like the Chrysos Heir Anaxa's name as well as his personality have been referenced from him.
