Australian developers Uppercut Studios have announced that Submerged an exploration, adventure game will be released for PS4 sometime this year. Designer Ed Orman jovially greeted his fans before going to speak a bit about this upcoming title.
“Submerged is a serene adventure set in a city that has mysteriously become flooded and overgrown. It follows the story of siblings Miku and Taku – the pair arrive in this strange place in a boat, and Miku has to carry her wounded brother Taku to shelter before she can start gathering the supplies she’ll need to nurse him back to health.”
Players will take control of Miku as she explores the mysterious city she and her brother have come to. She has this unique ability that allows her to scale building and uncover supply caches. Her boat and telescope help her explore this city. Submerged is a game where the players are allowed to let their curiosity take control and the game has no failure states. This allows for free exploration of the world.
