Anthem is an open world game, to what extent is it world open we do not know yet.

Will it be like The Witcher 3? or Dragon Age Inquisition? I'm betting more on the latter.

But whatever be the case, Anthem will offer you a free mode where you can explore the world freely with your friends where you'll encounter different world events, find loots and much more.

Now how can this be different then what you do in the missions?

I'm hoping Bioware pays special attention to this segment of the game and add better loots in the free mode and many other kinds of stuff so that people are reluctant to explore its beautiful and dynamic world.
