In case you didn’t know...

Antoine Griezmann has followed in the footsteps of various footballers who have revealed their FUT teams to the footballing fraternity. The striker, who is linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window revealed his team via an upload on social networking app Snapchat which was picked up instantly by sports website givemesport who first published it on their website.

The FUT offering by FIFA allows players to build their teams by buying player packs and trading those players on the virtual in-game transfer market. The players’ prices are decided as per the bids they receive and the system of the highest bid wins is followed.

The heart of the matter

Antoine Griezmann’s team looks pretty formidable and possesses a solid spine. At the back in goal is the best goalkeeper on the game, Manuel Neuer who has a rating of 92. The 26-year-old also prefers a solid three at the back in defence which consists of legendary former defenders Rio Ferdinand (88), Marcel Desailly (89) along with current Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti(84).

The wingbacks in the 5-3-2 include Italian full-back Ignazio Abate (84) and Alex Sandro (86) from Brazil.

The all-star team also features a solid midfield trio of speculated future teammate Paul Pogba (88), former Portsmouth midfielder Jay Jay Okocha (87) and former Argentine midifielder, Juan Sebastian Veron(88).

The strike partnership looks to be a perfect combination of strength, speed, guile and finishing with a special Cristiano Ronaldo card rated at 96 and the finishing prowess of Argentine ace striker Hernan Crespo.

What next?

Antoine Greizmann has been turning in the goals for Atletico Madrid season as the attacking lynchpin in a hardworking, hustling side. The Frenchman has been in spectacular form of late and scored 55 goals for club and country in the 2016-17 season.

Griezmann has been linked with a big price move to the red half of Manchester in the summer and will fit right into a dynamic Manchester United side if the move does eventually happen.

Author’s Take

Antoine Griezmann’s FIFA team will certainly take some beating with the extraordinary balance it possesses. The Atletico Madrid DNA also seems to be reflected with a solid defence and reliance on indiviul attacking threats to score the goals.

Manchester United fans are also likely to clutch at straws and speculate that the presence of Paul Pogba in the heart of this FUT team midfield indicates an impending move to Old Trafford for the Frenchman.
