Here's a look at all the issues patched with this update:

  • Fixed an issue causing a "Persistence Transfer Cancelled" error
  • Resolved a crashing issue with the French language pack on PS5
  • Updated the Quads UI to show all four teammates in the Summary menu after winning a match
  • Resolved a crash related to the Spot Shadow Detail setting
  • Various performance fixes for the Balanced mode on Xbox Series S
  • Fixed flickering textures and shadows on Broken Moon
  • Resolved a visual issue with the Firewalter Fitzroy skin

Fixing all these issues improves a player's quality of life in the shooter. However, the biggest fix is the one for the issue causing the "Persistence Transfer Cancelled" error in Apex Legends.

As per fan accounts and other details of the error code, the issue stemmed from players trying to join their friends' lobbies. With Apex Legends being a multiplayer game, and playing with your friends being common in such titles, having an error that booted you to the main menu for simply joining a friend's squad was extremely frustrating.

Thankfully, the latest Apex Legends Hotfix Patch has curbed this problem, and players can return to grinding the game with their friends. Season 22 is right around the corner, and there's no better time than now to pair up with your friends for the 300% Battle Pass XP boost to complete the leftover tiers.
