Arena Breakout Season 5 patch notes: New map, bosses, and more

Level Infinite is set to release the Arena Breakout Season 5 update on July 25, 2024. The patch's Sneek Peak was released a few days ago, revealing some amazing additions the upcoming update has in store. Those who pre-registered for it and pre-ordered the Battle Pass will get exciting additional rewards, including Sapper Shovel and Universal Key and coins, upon the patch's arrival.

1) New map: Mine

The Arena Breakout Season 5 update has introduced a region that once was a barren land: the El Milar area under Mine. It is loaded with copper and gold, and features an industrial hub with small towns, factories, and a security prison.

2) New boss: Hecate

Hecate is a commander who leads the Southern Army against the Farm district. A conceited and authoritarian adversary, she wears the Blackgold badge and has been recruited from a Colom special ops team, according to rumors.

3) New faction weapons

4) New mode: Team Elimination

The Team Elimination mode will begin on August 1, 2024, and last till August 28, 2024. In this, you will join the Southern Army or the Kamona Guard Corps and experience endless 4v4 action-packed gameplay.

5) Free Universal Keys

Installing the Arena Breakout Season 5 update file between July 25 and 28, 2024 will reward you with a Universal Key the moment you log in for the first time.

6) 1st Anniversary rewards

Log in every week and get a Quick Kit, Sapper Shovel Tokens, and scratch cards. Collect all the Sapper Shovel Tokens to obtain the new melee weapon for free.

7) Anniversary celebration

Level Infinite has planned a long lineup of events to celebrate the Arena Breakout's first anniversary, which will begin on July 25, 2024, and continue to August 28, 2024.

Login Bonus event: Log in daily between July 25, 2024, and August 7, 2024, to get a Bulletproof Case Trial, Universal Key, coins, and Quick Kits.

Celebration challenges: Finishing dedicated challenges between July 25, 2024, and August 14, 2024, will reward you with Anniversary Coins, which can redeemed with exciting rewards.

Koen Stack: In this event, you must complete missions and put Koen in your stack for a 100% return. You can get your bonus Koens from August 8, 2024.

5) Improvements

Here are the improvements introduced by the Arena Breakout Season 5:

Raid Readiness: A new prompt will pop up when players don't have keys to their map.
Team Up Improvements: Players can now request to join another team while already on a team.
Elimination details: Eliminates foes' details will now highlighted in the results screen.
Players now can view in-game friends' raid time and offline details.
Max-level Merit scores will now give bonus Rank Points.
Now containers can be saved for auto organization.
Quick Split and Sell now will support armor, helmet, bag, and item combinations, including operation supply markers.
When purchasing gear, quick equipment doesn't need empty storage space.

6) Balance Adjustments

The Arena Breakout Season 5 update contains the following balance adjustments:

AN-94 Assault Rifle - Accuracy: Increased
VSS Marksman Rifle - Vertical and Horizontal recoin control: Increased
M14 Carbine - Rate of fire: Reduced
Hip-fire scatter for the first few hi-fire shots has been removed.
5.45 x 39mm caliber PP ammo's base damage has been increased.
Gas masks and a few helmet masks' screen coverage has been reduced.
When players are in a smoke grenade cloud, discerning their footsteps has been made harder.
Stun grenades will now cause affected enemies to make noises and create sound prints.

7) Other fixes and improvements

The following are the fixes and improvements brought by the Arena Breakout Season 5:

Effects of gunfire and shell ejection smoke have been improved.
Some accessories' weights have been revised.
Some items' reference prices have been adjusted.
Players can now cancel opening a door that doesn't use the key or card.
Most primary weapons' firing animation from a third-person perspective has been enhanced.
Trail effects for flares have been improved.
Electronic and retro safes' appearance has been enhanced.
