Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon received a major title update - version 1.07, which comes with a ton of weapon and AC part buffs. The update came out of nowhere, with some substantial changes, especially for the PvP side of the game. Apart from the regular technical fixes and improvements, the latest update comes packed with major weapon buffs that are bound to change how certain builds will play in PvE as well as PvP.
Furthermore, the update also buffed several AC parts, including the Lammergeier parts, which were added to the game post-release. While the game is more than a year old at this point, FromSoftware still seems to be committed to supporting Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon, at least its PvP part.

Armored Core 6 update 1.07 official patch notes
Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon's update 1.07 doesn't come with any new additions to the game. However, the update does fix some of the issues that were present in both PC and console versions of the title, regarding the hit registration during PvP as well as the stagger bug in both PvE and PvP, with the shoulder-mounted weapons.

Player AC-related fixes (Armored Core 6 version 1.07)
- Fixed an issue that occurs when equipping a chargeable shoulder-mounted weapon and pressing the shift control button while being staggered, resulting in any attack following the initial stagger to not incur a heavy stagger state on the player.
- During online play, fixed an issue where players releasing the guard button right before becoming staggered would cause subsequent attacks to not result in a heavy stagger state.
- Fixed an issue where hits would sometimes not register when attacking enemies using Pulse Armor/Terminal Armor with a melee weapon.
- Fixed an issue that caused melee attacks to not connect with enemies due to interactions with walls and terrain.
- Fixed an issue that caused player AC to continuously float upwards after recovering from falling out of the map area.
Online match related Fixes (Armored Core 6 version 1.07)
- In Ranked Matches, the change to the rating for S-Rank matches has been adjusted.
- *Specifically, the number of matches required for the rating value to even out has been increased.
- This is to avoid the player being repeatedly demoted/promoted shortly after reaching S-Rank.
- Fixed an issue that, under certain circumstances, players not subject to rank resets would be unable to progress past the rank-up results phase.
System-related fixes (Armored Core 6 version 1.07)
- Fixed the issue that caused the game to crash after customizing AC via the ASSEMBLY menu.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes occurred after applying WEATHERING via the PAINT menu, resulting in graphical abnormalities as well as game crashes.
Steam version-related fixes (Armored Core 6 version 1.07)
- Fixed an issue where in-game movies would not play if the PC's sound device was disabled.
- Fixed an issue where pressing Alt+Enter to change the screen mode would result in SYSTEM Menu>Graphics Settings not being selectable.
- Fixed an issue that caused the key icons shown within “input device settings>key settings” to not display correctly for certain languages.

After installing the update, you can verify Armored Core 6's version from the main menu. Following the latest update, the application version will be .07, whereas the Regulation version will be 1.07. Do note that the update is mandatory for online PvP modes. However, if you wish to play the game offline, installing the update is completely optional.
