Astro Bot Downsize Surprise level walkthrough: All bots and puzzle piece locations

Similar to other stages, the Astro Bot Downsize Surprise level also holds quite a few secrets and puzzles that you will need to come across and collect, if you want that sweet completionist run. Team Asobi's latest platformer offering can get a bit challenging at times, especially as certain secrets can be very well placed on each map and thereby hard to obtain. A walkthrough of Astro Bot Downsize Surprise level

The Downsize Surprise level is located in the Tentacle system. You will need to find a total of seven bots and three puzzle pieces to complete the level. It also has a secret area which you can access. Let's get down to all the collectibles you can find in the Astro Bot Downsize Surprise level

Bot 1

The first bot can be found inside a cage after you get the mouse power up. To free it, shrink down and use the mushrooms to climb into the cage. Reverting to normal once you are inside will free it.

Puzzle Piece 1

Now look to your left and you will find a group of enemies encircling a tree trunk. Defeat them and use your power up once again to make your way through the small hole in the trunk. Here you will obtain the first puzzle piece of the Astro Bot Downsize Surprise level.

Bot 2

After leaving the trunk, you will find three boxes right in front of you against the yellow wall. Break them, shrink down, and enter the hole. Revert to your size and break the wooden wall in front of you. This will free the second Bot located on this level.

Puzzle Piece 2

Keep progressing till you come across a bedroom. Shrink down, climb on the plant pot, and use a spin attack to get above the pipes. Climb up the pipes to the AC vent. You will find the second puzzle piece here.

Bot 3

In the bedroom, go to the bed and shrink down to get under the sheet. Revert back to your normal size to find the third bot sleeping on the bed.

Bot 4

Climb through the small opening beside the bed. Go outside of the room to find the fourth bot of this level.

Bot 5

Right in front of you, you will find a tree. Shrink down and climb up using the leaves. You will find the fifth bot on one of the branches, sitting inside a bird nest.

Bot 6

From the tree, jump off to the balcony and go to your left. Shrink down and use hover to break the glass pane so that the fan's air updraft can take you up to the next area. Stand beside the Frog and blow into your Dualsense controller to create a bubble. Use this bubble to reach the cage on top of the tree.

Similar to the first bot, go inside the cage and revert to your original size to break the cage and get the sixth bot in the Astro Bot Downsize Surprise level.

Secret Level

Use the bubbles again to climb the tree. Hover to the next branch and you will find a switch. Use it to reveal the secret Lost Galaxy level.

Cameo Bot/ Bot 7

Go back to the initial balcony and turn right. You will find a cat and a padlock. Shrink and go inside the padlock to unlock it. You will notice a red button, that you have to press. This will start the platforming sequence.

Climb to the top and you will reach a corridor with gears. Head straight till you come across a balcony and turn left to find the final bot in the Astro Bot Downsize Surprise level.

Puzzle Piece 3

Turn right and you will find a screw. Use it to climb the clock hands, which will lead you to the final puzzle piece of this level.
