Astro Bot Mighty Chewy boss walkthrough

After finishing the first world of Astro Bot, players must face off against Mighty Chewy who is a giant Gorilla inspired by King Kong. Defending against his aggressive attacks, and defeating him might feel a bit tricky at first. The Gorilla boss has three weaknesses that you can take advantage of to defeat him.

As you reach the last stage of Gorilla Nebula, you need a strategy to defeat the humongous gorilla boss who aggressively throws buildings at you. Your Astro's bulldog dash powers will come in handy during this fight.

To fight him, you must collect 20 bots to unlock his location in Gorilla Nebula Galaxy. Once you enter the Mighty Chewy Planet, you will encounter him at the end of this stage.

Attacks of Mighty Chewy

As soon as you start this stage, you will need to defeat all the enemies surrounding you. Wait for the enemies to come near you, then use your charge attack to knock them down.

To dodge Mighty Chewy's attacks in Astro Bot Gorilla Nebula, you can use the breakable walls or holes present in the buildings. There are a few structures that have breakable glass that you can use to escape.

Once you spot Mighty Chewy, he will try to make you follow him. Run across the buildings, time your jump correctly, and keep following him. Swerve and duck, as he throws metal platforms towards you. Using these platforms, jump and cross rooftops to get close to him.

Mighty Chewy possesses a bell that he uses as his primary move. Once he slams the bells on rooftops, you must dodge the sound waves produced. Following this, you will notice that the bell will turn red. Attacking when the bell is red will lead Mighty Chewy to get knocked out for a while.

After you knock him out, attack his eyes one by one. Once you have damaged both his eyes, he will try a new attack called the Floor Chomp. Quite similar to the Bell Slam, this time, his teeth will get stuck to the floor, giving you enough room to attack them.

Following this, he will be knocked out with his mouth wide open. Go inside and attack the golden button in his mouth to finally finish him. Once you defeat Astro Bot's first boss, you can rescue the Monkey Stalker VIP bot, Spike, from the popular video game franchise Ape Escape.
