Personality
With normal behavior, Aurora is able to get along with nearly everyone and greets anyone she meets with a smile. Upon first meeting her, she won’t hesitate to make friendly conversation and thus becomes fast friends with the player. Aurora is usually one of the first to wake up on the island, and may even be up before you! Rest assured that for the most part, any time you log in Aurora will be there to greet you. She’ll get along fine with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty and other normal villagers. Though she may be confrontational with cranky and sisterly villagers.
Appearance
Aurora is a penguin villager, though anyone that sees her can usually tell straight away. She is colored with a black and white palate similar to normal penguins. White on her body, and black on her forehead, legs and arms. Her outfit changes slightly during the period between New Leaf and New Horizons.
How to get Aurora in New Horizons
Getting a villager you want in New Horizons is particularly tricky, as there is only one surefire way to do so, the rest is up to luck. There are two primary methods of getting Aurora to your village; the first is using Nook Miles to fly to an island and see if she is there. Keep in mind if you do this you’ll have to have an open plot available. The second method is to wait and see if she’ll appear at your campsite. Either way both methods are based on luck, so it’s completely up to chance.
Role of Aurora in New Leaf
Aurora’s first appearance was in New Leaf, as a potential villager to occupy and live in your village. Aside from a new outfit, nothing much has changed about her from New Leaf to New Horizons.
Role of Aurora in Wild World
Like the previous game, Aurora is in a similar position and when found the player can convince her to join and become neighbors in their village. From there, you could build your friendship up with her.
Amiibo
A guaranteed way to get Aurora on your island is to use her Amiibo card. Simply scan it with your Switch at the Town Hall. Keep in mind in order to do this you need to have both the Town Hall and Campsite constructed. Once you’ve invited her to your campsite, you simply need to do this three times and she’ll be a part of your island!
