Avgust in Reverse 1999 is an upcoming Arcanist debuting in the version 1.8 update. This Arcanist belongs to the Plant Afflatus and has DPS and Support tags. He will have a boosted drop rate on the Ode to the Utopia time-limited banner with a 6-star Arcanist, Vila. The banner will be available from August 15 to August 29, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5.

Avgust can heal allies with his incantation skills besides dealing damage and buffing. Additionally, he can dispel Stats up and Pos stats from the enemies. Here is the skills overview of Avgust in Reverse 1999:

  • Greetings (Basic Skill): With Greetings, Avgust can deal damage to two enemies. He will also dispel Stats up and Pos stats from the enemies hit with Greetings. Additionally, Greetings buffs the damage-dealing ability of Avgust and allies in front of him.
  • Wish You Good Health (Basic Skill): Avgust buffs all allies on the battlefield with Wish You Good Health. He grants the Cure status effect to all teammates and damage heal buff to himself and allies behind him.
  • One Stroke After Another (Ultimate Skill): Avgust can attack all enemies with One Stroke After Another. He also grants Rousing Morale to himself and his allies in front of him. Additionally, he gives Sturdiness to himself and the allies behind him.

  • Cure: It restores HP based on Avgust’s attack at the beginning of every round.
  • Rousing Morale: It gives a 50% damage bonus to Arcanists while attacking.
  • Sturdiness: The Arcanist with Sturdiness effect takes reduced damage from enemies.

Avgust’s Inheritance or Passive is called Sunflower Bodyguards. At Insight I, he grants the damage dealt buff to allies in front of him. On the other hand, the allies behind him take reduced damage from enemies.

At Insight II, his damage-dealing ability increases while entering the battle. At Insight III, the allies in front of him get an increase in their attack. Additionally, the allies behind him take reduced damage from enemies.

Avgust in Reverse 1999 takes the role of offensive support. Timekeepers can pair him with healers like Vila of Plant Afflatus and Tooth Fairy of Star Afflatus. They can use Marcus of the Plant Afflatus and Kaalaa Baunaa of Mineral Afflatus for the DPS role.

For a 5-star, Avgust in Reverse 1999 can grant plenty of buffs. He can grant Rousing Morale, Sturdiness, and Cure status effects. Timekeepers can use him as an offensive and defensive support based on his position in a team. Avgust can also become beneficial while facing enemies with buffing abilities due to his ability to dispel Status Up and Pos Status from enemies.

His kit can become handy in Mane’s Bulletin game mode and work with other offensive supports to tackle raid bosses. Timekeepers can make use of Avgust's unique buffs based on his position in a team. In addition to providing excellent support and damage buffs, this Plant Afflatus Arcanist can deal a decent amount of damage.

Avgust in Reverse 1999 can also heal all his allies at the start of every round and ensure their survivability with damage heal buff. Timekeepers can use him with Arcanists that deal reality and mental damage, making him a universal support. Building him won’t cost much due to his 5-star rarity. Avgust is worth pulling due to his team-building flexibility and utility in Mane’s Bulletin.
