According to a post on the Battlelog, the upcoming expansion pack of Battlefield 4 – Naval Strike has been delayed due to some technical glitches in the game.
The expansion was due to be released alongside the console versions on 25th March for Battlefield Premium members and 8th April for everyone else. DICE hasn’t announced a revised release date for Naval Strike on PC so far.
“We’ve detected an issue and it needs to be solved. Quality is our number one priority and we will not release Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC until we feel it meets the highest quality level possible,” says the post on the Battlelog. “We are also working on a larger update to release alongside Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC that will address the issue of Tablet Commander not working correctly.”

Naval Strike is set to bring, alongside four new maps, many new additions to Battlefield 4, including a new hovercraft vehicle that allows traversal on land as well as on water. Other additions include a new dynamic weather system and a new game mode, Carrier Assault, which is set to be an homage to Battlefield 2142′s Titan Mode, where battles take place on two stages.
