Battlefield: Hardline is an upcoming first-person shooter planned to release on March 2015. The game is being developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts. During the recent The Game Awards, the game developers revealed a new trailer that mainly focusses on the story content of the game.
The fans will be glad to know that Visceral Games are not skimping on the main campaign story and the story looks gritty. Inspired by Television Crime Dramas, Battlefield Hardline puts players into the role of newly appointed detective Nick Mendoza with his partner Khai Minh Dao in Miami as they become entrenched in a drug war that blurs the lines of the law.
Visceral have promised the fans that the campaign is better than the previous games and it will not be completely linear and will offer more choice to players. The game developers also announced at The Game Awards, that there is another beta phase for Battlefield: Hardline and is set to take place before the launch of the game. The game will be released for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
