The beloved rodent from the Guardians of the Galaxy is probably the most beginner-friendly Strategist in Marvel Rivals and a great character to try out for new players. His healing orbs automatically bring back a character's health when you throw them in their general direction, making him a great pick for new players.

He also has the ability that deploy an armor station that allies can pick. One of the coolest features about this is the fact if any ally dies in this gadget's range, they will automatically be revived at the cost of the armor station. Besides providing strong healing and utility with heals, his Ultimate can grant allies a damage boost, making him one of the best characters in the game.

The icing on the cake is his team-up ability in Marvel Rivals with Punisher. This allows Rocket Raccoon to drop an ammo station that gives Frank unlimited ammo and an increased fire rate on his primary weapon for a limited time.

2) Jeff the land Shark

When it comes to healing, Jeff the Land Shark is as straightforward as you can get. His simple kit makes him one of the best Strategists in Marvel Rivals for beginner players. His primary fire provides a healing ray that heals allies when hit and his secondary fire deals damage to enemies.

Jeff has two main abilities, the first of which lets him throw bubbles that will heal allies when they pick them up. The second allows him to tactically retreat or reposition himself by moving quickly. His Ultimate can either capture and take enemies away from the objective and delay them, or reposition his team away from imminent danger.

3) Cloak and Dagger

Cloak and Dagger are a duo who work together as one Strategist. They are easy enough for beginners to pick up, allowing them to provide easy sustenance to the team. Both of Dagger's primary fire and skills can provide healing to allies. She is one of the best beginner-friendly Strategists in Marvel Rivals because her primary fire can lock on to allies automatically, making it easy to heal them.

Cloak, on the other hand, can blind enemies and assist in you falling back to a safer distance and damage enemies. The duo combines during their Ultimate, where they can dash up to three times, creating a field that will heal allies and damage enemies when they move forward.

This can come in quite handy when you want to heal your allies and deny enemies the point, which can often net you a win.

4) Luna Snow

The K-Pop idol, Luna Snow, is another great pick for new players who want to play as Strategists in Marvel Rivals. She is a highly mobile unit in the game, thanks to her passive that allows her to skate her way out of danger. Similar to Dagger, her primary fire can either damage enemies or heal allies. Her secondary fire throws an ice ball that stuns enemies on impact.

One of Luna's skills allows her to mark an ally to receive healing when she heals others. Her other ability buffs her primary fire and she can either grant increased healing or deal increased damage.

However, the biggest advantage that new players will get by bringing Luna is her Ultimate. Casting it allows her to create a field that you can switch between two states — one to heal any allies in its radius and the second to buff their damage. This makes Luna one of the best Strategists in Marvel Rivals.

5) Mantis

Last but not least, Mantis is another one of the best strategists in Marvel Rivals that you should pick if you are a beginner player. You will spot four leaves on the screen while playing her, and using her abilities consumes these leaves. These will either regenerate over time or when you deal damage to enemies.

She has great offensive abilities that allow her to buff a single ally's damage, as well as her own. Her primary fire is a projectile that deals damage while her secondary fire places a leave on an ally who gets a burst of healing instantly and then slowly gets their HP back over time.

Just like Luna, her Ultimate is a game-changer. She can create a field that will move alongside her, healing the team and granting them a speedboost.
