1) Giant

Giant is a rare card that Clash Royale beginners acquire in Training Camp. It was introduced along with the game’s launch and boasts high hitpoints or a health pool with a hit speed of 1.5 seconds. Although he moves slowly, the massive character can dish out tremendous damage. At its highest level, 14, it can deal 334 damage and 224 damage per second. Additionally, its hitpoints increase exponentially at 5,423 points.

This melee attacker only targets buildings, ignoring the enemy’s troops. However, this massively-built character costs 5 Elixir to deploy in this free-to-play game. One can utilize the Giant’s power by pairing it with Musketeer. Giant can advance to the building with its colossal damage power, while Musketeer destroys any enemy.

2) Mini PEKKA

Mini PEKKA is a rare card melee attacker that swiftly and effectively destroys enemy troops. It moves quickly across the Arena, destroying any enemy standing in its way. Mini PEKKA attacks a single enemy at a time but finishes it soon, with a Hit speed of 1.6 seconds. At its highest level, 14, it deals 955 damage and 596 damage per second. Even at the lowest level, 1, it wreaks 340 damage and 212 damage per second.

Although its health is low due to its high damage power, it can quickly destroy tanks in the Arena. Mini PEKKA is an excellent defense against Giant, and ironically, pairing with the same creates a deadly combo. The card costs 4 Elixir to deploy, and pairing it with spell cards provides an edge in a match.

3) Arrows

Arrows is a common spell card that deals with Area Damage in Clash Royale. Deploying this card launches three consecutive volleys of arrows in a row. It targets Air and Ground enemy troops in a wide radius of 1.4. The card helps destroy Crown Towers with low health, and at its highest level, 14, it deals 162 Area Damage and 48 Crown Tower Damage with a single volley. You have to spend 3 Elixir to deploy the Arrows card in the Arena.

All beginners obtain this in Training Camp when they start in this real-time strategy game. Arrows can support Mini PEKKA when opponents deploy the cards that release multiple troops. The card is also useful when the enemy deploys swarm cards like Spear Goblin, removing numerous troops simultaneously. The card costs 3 Elixir to deploy against enemy troops in the Arena.

4) Goblins

Goblins is a common card available in Goblin Stadium after completing the Training Camp. Unlocking the Goblin Stadium requires no trophies, as it is the first Arena. Deploying this card costs only 2 Elixir, releasing four Goblins with a hit speed of 1.1 seconds. They are very fast melee attackers with low hit points and moderate damage. At the highest level, 14, it creates 159 Damage points and inflicts 144 Damage Per Second. The card has 267 Hitpoints at the highest level in Clash Royale.

Players can use this Clash Royale card as an offensive or defensive distraction for other cards like Mini PEKKA and Giant. While Giant as a tank absorbs damage, Goblins can reach the princess tower conveniently. They can be painful for opponents in the end game when the Elixir bar fills up two times faster.

5) Archers

Archers is a common card in Clash Royale, released with the game at launch. At the cost of three Elixir, this card releases two archers with a hit speed of 0.9 seconds. They target both Air and Ground enemy troops with their long-range attack, and at the highest level, 14, they inflict 142 damage and 157 damage per second. Additionally, they have decent hitpoints of 403 at the highest level.

The Archers card is a good support unit, thanks to decent damage and hit speed. It creates an excellent attacking combo by pairing with the tanks in the Arena. Archers can destroy swarm cards in this tower defense game due to their long-range attacks. When the knight card approaches to attack, they can assist the queen towers and take it down in Clash Royale.
