Best characters for Abyss Surges in Wuthering Waves

Abyss Surges is a 5-Star Standard weapon available in Wuthering Waves. It is a Gauntlet-type weapon and can be equipped on characters who wield Gauntlets. As with all Standard weapons, Abyss Surges can be obtained only from the Standard Weapon Convene and isn't present in any other banner. It can also be selected from the 5-Star Weapon Supply Chest gifted to players for reaching Union Level 45.

At Level 90, Abyss Surges has the following main stats and effects:

Secondary Stat	36.4% ATK
Weapon Passive	Increases Energy Regen by 12.8%/16%/192.%/22.4%/25.6%. When hitting an opponent with Resonance Skill, Basic Attack DMG is increased by 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%20%, lasting up to 8 seconds. Additionally, when hitting an opponent with Basic Attacks, Resonance Skill DMG is increased by 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%20%, lasting up to 8 seconds.

Aside from having a high Base ATK, Abyss Surges also provides a lot of buffs to the equipping character. The ATK% Secondary Stat ensures this weapon functions as a great stat stick for any DPS Gauntlet user, as the ATK buff will always be more than welcome.

Additionally, Abyss Surges also boosts both Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill, meaning it can be used by characters who inflict damage using their Basic Attacks as well as characters who rely on their Resonance Skill for attacks. Abyss Surges is Jianxin's best weapon. Apart from the ATK buffs, Jianxin can also fully utilize its Energy Regeneration effect, making this a great weapon for her. Jianxin can be easily built as a DPS/sub-DPS character, in which case you shouldn't look any further than Abyss Surges for her best-in-slot weapon. Equipping Abyss Surges on Jianxin will not only boost both her Basic Attack and Resonance Skill DMG, but also allow her to quickly regain her Ultimate.

2) Youhu

If you do not have Xiangli Yao's signature weapon Verity's Handle, Abyss Surges is a good second option for him even at Refinement Rank 1.
