Commando of Conviction is a 4-star Sword weapon in Wuthering Waves. It is a potent weapon to have on any Sword Resonator in the game as it boasts strong stats and truly elevates certain Resonators to a very powerful level. However, some Sword Resonators make use of this weapon better than others.

4) Yangyang

Yangyang is one of the first Resonators you can get your hands on. As such, she is a decent Sub-DPS/Support hybrid Resonator in the early stages of the game. However, she gets outclassed by most Sub-DPS characters and is better used as a Support.

Due to this, the bonus damage you receive after the Intro skill is somewhat wasted on Yangyang if you run her as a Support. Even if you wish to use her as a Sub-DPS, Lunar Cutter is a better 4-star Sword option. Originite: Type II and Scale: Slasher are the best options if you wish to use Yangyang as a Support which makes Commando of Conviction an average option in comparison to others.

3) Danjin

Danjin is a Havoc Main DPS that has a very unique playstyle. She sacrifices her HP to deal more damage while being able to heal herself too. Commando of Conviction is a naturally good choice for any Sword user who is a Main DPS. Danjin also benefits a lot from Commando of Conviction's effects.

That said, her lack of synergy with most Sub-DPSs in the game makes it a bit harder to get Concerto rotations regularly. Naturally, Commando of Conviction's value is lowered. A better option that can work more consistently for Danjin is Lumingloss. That said, Commando of Conviction is still a perfectly fine alternative for Danjin as the stats it provides are quite good for her.

2) Sanhua

Sanhua is a very strong Sub-DPS in her current state as she provides good damage bonuses to the team and dishes out decent damage of her own. Her Outro Skill is also really powerful and synergizes well with Resonators like Encore. Sanhua's Intro Skill provides really great burst potential when paired with her super fast rotation.

This synergizes quite well with Commando of Conviction's effects and makes it a strong choice for her. As Sanhua generates Concerto Energy quite fast, she can benefit from the weapon's effects repeatedly. The increase in damage further amplifies her burst potential as well.

Rover is the best user of Commando of Conviction regardless of their attribute. Havoc Rover is a phenomenal Main DPS while Spectro Rover is a serviceable Sub-DPS which makes Commando of Conviction an excellent choice no matter what. Havoc Rover greatly benefits from this weapon as they want to stay on-field for a good amount of time.

Spectro Rover has a decent Concerto rotation enabling for regular uses for Commando of Conviction. A quick Resonance Liberation after the Intro Skill before swapping out works great with Spectro Rover. Overall, Commando of Conviction is a weapon tailor-made for both attributes of the Rover.
