Warrior

Warriors have high survivability with strong defense and health pools. They can immediately block or parry, even mid-attack, and their attacks are powerful enough to stagger or knock down enemies. Their wide, sweeping two-handed attacks are very effective in crowd control, making them highly effective against groups.

However, the Warriors have limited ranged options. This class is best because they are quite easy to play and effective in almost all combat scenarios.

Mage

Mages are one of the most versatile classes in Dragon Age The Veilguard. They have a lot of choices between their weapon types and can deliver substantial damage, especially in the game's later stages. They use teleportation instead of a dodge roll, allowing them to pass through smaller enemies, and the orb-dagger combo provides some of the fastest attacks in the game.

Mages also gain unique dialogue options that Warriors and Rogues do not have. However, their low HP makes them fragile in close combat, and Mana can be difficult to manage in chaotic fights. Thanks to their versatility and high damage potential, Mages are one of the best classes in Dragon Age The Veilguard.
