As stated, Bayer Leverkusen's 3-4-2-1 formation is ideal for the team. There is width in the midfield and defensive solidity at the back with three Center Backs. Victor Boniface leads the attack as the Central Striker with Florian Wirtz and Jonas Hofmann behind him as Center Attacking Midfielders.

Short Passing Build-Up Style and High Defensive Approach work well for Bayer Leverkusen in EA FC 25. As for FC IQ Player Roles, give Victor Boniface the Advanced Forward+ role with Focus on Attack. Assign Wirtz Half Winger and Hofmann the Shadow Striker role with their Focus also set to Attack.

Grimaldo should be given Wide Playmaker++ with Focus on Attack and Frimpong should be assigned Wide Forward+ with Balanced Focus. The former has great Passing and Dribbling ratings and the latter can exploit wide spaces with his brilliant Pace. As for the two Central Midfielders, both have Focus set to Defend, but Xhaka plays Deep-Lying Playmaker whereas Garcia takes on the Holding Player Role.
