Here are the best formation and custom tactics for Liverpool in EA FC 25

The ideal formation and starting 11 for Liverpool isn't too different from the default setup. However, the assigned Player Roles make the difference and can get the best out of this squad whether it's just Kick Off matches or FC 25 Manager Career Mode.

Liverpool has great attacking prowess so the 4-3-3 Attack formation seems ideal for them. Leading the attack as the main striker is Diogo Jota with Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz flanking him as wingers.

Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Ryan Gravenberch form the midfield, and behind them are Andrew Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, and Trent Alexander-Arnold from left to right and in the backline. Needless to say, the goalkeeper is Alisson Becker.

Set the team's Build-Up Style to Counter and opt for an Aggressive Defensive Approach. Give Diogo Jota the Poacher role with Diaz as Wide Playmaker+ on the left and set both of their Focus to Attack.

Salah will play as Inside Forward++ on the right with Balanced Focus. This will allow him to cut in after starting wide, and you should take shots on goal with Salah, especially since he has the Finesse Shot+ and Trivela Playstyles in the game.

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai also need to be assigned Balanced Focus with Box-to-Box++ and Half Winger+ FC IQ Player Roles, respectively. Set Gravenberch to Holding and his Focus as Defend.

At the back, Roberston plays Wingback with a Balanced Focus. Virgil van Dijk, one of the best defenders in EA FC 25, has been assigned the Ball-Playing Defender++ role with Focus set to Defend. Konate gets Stopper+ with Balanced Focus and Trent takes on the Falseback++ role with Balanced Focus as well. Lastly, Alisson has the default Gdolkeeper Player Role with Focus set to Defend.
