The first step to getting the best out of the Spurs is setting up a formation that suits its players. Thereafter, FC IQ Player Roles will be assigned for them to behave in a manner that allows them to get the most out of their top skills during matches.

The 4-2-3-1 Wide formation looks ideal for the set of players Spurs have. Leading the attack is Heung Min Son with James Maddison behind him in the CAM position.

The wide spaces on the left and right are occupied by Timo Werner and Dejan Kulusevski, respectively, with Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma forming the defensive midfield pair.

Central striker Heung Min Son has 87 Pace and 89 Shooting, and hence, has been given the Advanced Striker++ Player Role. Maddison has been assigned Playmaker+ and will look to create attacking opportunities using his Passing and Dribbling skills in EA FC 25, both of which are rated 86.

Give Yves Bissouma Holding+ and Pape Matar Sarr the Deep Lying Playmaker+ role. Out wide on the left is Timo Werner with the Inside Forward+ Player Role. This should let him start wide, use his 91 Pace to beat opposing defenders, and then cut inside to go for goal.

Kulusevski, on the other hand, has been assigned the Wide Playmaker+ role. He can take up creative duties on the right side of the pitch with Pedro Porro behind him in the Wingback+ role.

Destiny Udogie's 88 Pace also gets utilized in the Falseback+ role that should see him move higher up the pitch in attack. Micky van de Ven contributes in the build-up as Ball Playing Defender+, while his Center Back partner, Cristian Romero, focuses on intercepting attacks with the Stopper+ Player Role.
