5 best Hitman World of Assassination missions
1) The Finish Line (Miami)
First featured in Hitman 2, sunny and picturesque Miami features as the setting for Agent 47 to eliminate two targets, racecar driver Sierra Knox and her industrialist father Robert Knox. This is Hitman World of Assassination’s most densely-populated map and it offers the player a huge variety of methods to complete the task at hand. These include being dressed as a doctor, a member of a race team or security team, or even a mascot in a flamingo costume.
Miami’s map is very prominently featured in YouTube video challenges as well, as the high population density of NPCs raises the bar of difficulty. As a bonus tip, one may want to escape from the rooftop of the Kronstadt Center wearing the flamingo costume to experience a secret mission exit cutscene.
2) Chasing a Ghost (Mumbai)
Many game studios had previously attempted to feature India in some capacity, but IO Interactive’s attempt at recreating Mumbai in Hitman World of Assassination is among the most well-known and for good reason. The cramped alleyways create many opportunities for 47 to take down mogul Dawood Rangan, godwoman Vanya Shah, and an initially unidentified target known simply as the Maelstrom.
Mumbai’s faithful recreation results in the player having the option of eliminating their targets with the help of a local train, as a barber or film crew member, or even by taking over another hired gun’s sniper.
3) World of Tomorrow (Sapienza)
2016’s Hitman reboot introduced scenic Sapienza and with it two targets to assassinate: Silvio Caruso and Francesca De Santis. The two are also developing a virus in secret, which 47 has to eradicate all traces of. Sapienza is highly regarded among Hitman fans across online forums, and for good reason. Its depiction of a coastal Italian town in Hitman World of Assassination is among the best fictional recreations of a real place in all of gaming.
Add to this the fact that 47 can dress up as a scientist, a cook, or even a priest to execute the task at hand. Sapienza’s main mission and even its escalation are highly regarded as some of the best Hitman 1 missions of all time.

4) On Top Of The World (Dubai)
Dubai features in Hitman World of Assassination and is one of the most visually stunning and most faithfully recreated Hitman maps of all time. The towering recreation of a Burj Khalifa-like building is the site where 47’s targets, Marcus Stuyvesant and Carl Ingram, are present. Dubai offers more than a few ways to eliminate the target, such as by becoming a bodyguard, a journalist, or even just by smart usage of a pair of scissors.
However, if played correctly, a unique part of the mission offers a chance to have 47 ambush his targets right after his client directly speaks to them. IO Interactive's rendition of Dubai remains one of the best examples of level design in a game.
5) Three-Headed Serpent (Santa Fortuna, Colombia)
In Hitman World of Assassination, Agent 47 visits Colombia and the small, densely forested village of Santa Fortuna to take out three targets. The targets are Rico Delgado, Jorge Franco, and Andrea Martinez. These three are covertly running a cartel operation that is causing trouble for our protagonist's employers, the ICA. Disguising himself in plain sight, our favorite bald assassin seeks to emulate a chameleon the best way he can.
Colombia, being a tropical country, has a lot of forest cover, and the same is featured all over Santa Fortuna in Hitman World of Assassination. The dense foliage around the map provides a fantastic natural cover for 47 to “execute” his plans.
This concludes our list of the five best Hitman World of Assassination Missions.
