1) Map Room

Map Room is among the highest contested regions on the entire map. This is primarily because it contains an abundance of loot alongside the map-wide enemy and ring scanner. This provides the squad with a competitive edge over others as you can quickly rotate to the zone and secure the best position before anyone else.

It is also close to a Charge Tower that you can use to ready up all the ultimate abilities for added advantage in early gunfights.

2) Crash Site

This is a relatively new POI for the map and consists of a broken-down space shuttle alongside some small buildings. This area can easily kit up at least three full quads with proper weapon loadouts and ammunition. However, the loot quantity is not infinite so you should concentrate on culling the number of enemies in the area and covet all available items for your team.

3) Caustic Treatment

Caustic Treatment is the only POI on Kings Canyon that guarantees Golden Tier loot. You can walk in and interact with any one of the two panels present inside the structure to unlock the locked loot in the green toxic area. There are several Supply Bins in this POI that can help you stack up on heals and high-tier attachments for almost all weapons.

Relic is another new POI that was added to the map and can be described as the epicenter of chaos. A large number of squads prefer dropping in this area due to its high-quality loot and the availability of both vertical and horizontal terrain. This is easily one of the best POIs if you wish to rake up kills and participate in early-game gunfights.

5) Capacitor

This POI is contained within a valley, or crater-like terrain, with high-rise walls on one side and cliffs on the other. There are three large single-story buildings in the area with a few smaller structures on the other side. It contains a Charge Tower as well for quick ultimate recharges and is connected to the Labs POI through an underground tunnel.

This is a highly contested zone and normally gets at least a double squad contest. It also contains one building on high ground. The loot distribution is enough for two quad squads to fully kit up with meta weapons and high-tier attachments.
