The new NBA 2K release offers various layup packages to choose from for your build, many of which take inspiration from the best players in the sport.

That said, each layup package has certain requirements that your build must meet in order to equip it. With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the best layup packages for every build in NBA 2K25.

The layup packages available for your build depend on its Height and Driving Layup attribute point. The specific requirements for each layup package will be mentioned at the bottom of the Layup Style selection menu. While you are free to choose any of the available packages, here are some of the best ones for different NBA 2K25 builds:

Best layup packages for Height at least 6 feet 10 inches

  • Nikola Jokic - Requires Driving Layup 79 or more.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo - Requires Driving Layup 80 or more.
  • Domantas Sabonis - Requires Driving Layup 78 or more.

They feature some cool animations and can be used for Centers, who are supposed to be the tallest players on the team. You can also pick one of them for your Power Forward build if they meet the Height requirement.


Best layup packages for Height at least 6 feet 5 inches

  • Michael Jordan - Requires Height under 6 feet 10 inches and Driving Layup 83 or more.
  • Kobe Bryant - Requires Height under 6 feet 10 inches and Driving Layup 88 or more.
  • Ben Simmons - Requires Driving Layup 65 or more.

These layup packages are best suited for Shooting or Point Guard builds in NBA 2K25.

  • Stephen Curry - Requires Driving Layup 86 or more.
  • Kyrie Irving - Requires Driving Layup 85 or more.
  • Trae Young - Requires Driving Layup 80 or more.

These layup packages are suited for Point or Shooting Guards that are not too tall.


The Devin Booker layup package also suits Guards very well. It can be equipped to builds with Height under 6 feet 10 inches and a Driving Layup of 87 or more.
