To play Lion, first assess the defender setup and what pieces of defensive utility are in play. Gather intel during the drone phase to locate the objective site and figure out the defender lineup. This information can help you decide on a secondary gadget. This choice will also be influenced by the attacking team's lineup and strategy.

When the round starts, make sure you play with your team and synchronize your EE-ONE-D scans with your team's pushes. Help out your fellow attackers with Flashes, Claymores, or Frag grenades wherever necessary. Additionally, try to stay alive until all of your scans are exhausted.

An important tip to note is that using your EE-ONE-D scans at the proper moment will net you the most out of your gadget. Don't waste your scans by using them at the start of the round. Make sure these scans occur in tandem with attackers who can capitalize from it by either planting, clearing out angles, or hunting roamers. If at the end of the round, you have scans left, make sure to leave them for a post-plant scenario.
