Genshin Impact: Nahida Hyperbloom guide

Overview

The Hyperbloom reaction fully utilizes the synergy between Dendro, Hydro, and Electro elements to generate strong Blooms that can clear challenging content, such as the Spiral Abyss.

Nahida’s Hyperbloom teams in Genshin Impact excel due to her capability to apply Dendro consistently across multiple enemies, setting up Bloom reactions with Hydro allies. Nahida’s skill links enemies, enabling broad Dendro application, which is crucial for Hyperbloom since it is a reaction that requires rapid core generation. She performs exceptionally well as an on-field driver and an off-field Dendro support as well.

The way you wish to use Nahida will determine what team composition best suits your playstyle. Keeping that in mind, here are some of the best Nahida Hyperbloom team comps in Genshin Impact:

  • Nahida + Raiden Shogun + Xingqiu + Yelan
  • Nahida + Kuki Shinobu + Xingqiu + Ayato/Kokomi
  • Nahida + Raiden Shogun/Yae Miko + Xingqiu + Beidou
  • Nahida + Raiden Shogun + Xingqiu + Kazuha/Sucrose
  • Nahida + Yae Miko/Kuki Shinobu + Yelan/Ayato/Childe + Venti
  • Nahida + Yae Miko/Raiden Shogun + Xingqiu + Zhongli

To provide a brief overview of the above-mentioned teams, Nahida will be the main Dendro character responsible for the Dendro application in these teams. Her insane Dendro application will be sufficient to create the Blooms required to deal maximum damage.

Second, you will need a Hydro character to create the Blooms. Xingqiu and Yelan can be the best Hydro applicators for this responsibility, allowing Nahida to be an on-field damage-dealing unit. You can also use Ayato, Childe, or an on-field Kokomi to apply Hydro, in which case it would be recommended that you use Nahida as an off-field unit.

Raiden Shogun can be an excellent choice for triggering the Hyperblooms, as her Elemental Skill has a long duration and applies Electro in a large AoE. Additionally, she will provide more Energy Regeneration, allowing Nahida to get her Burst quickly.

Kuki Shinobu is also a decent alternate for a Hyperbloom team, but it is important to note that her Electro application is not as quick or consistent as Raiden Shogun's. Yae Miko can be a great choice for an Electro unit, where she can be both an on-field or an off-field damage-dealing character.

You can also use Anemo characters like Kazuha, Venti, and Sucrose to provide crowd control and reduce the enemy's elemental resistance for your Hydro or Electro damage-dealing units. However, it is important to note that these characters will perform well in a team where Nahida is the off-field character and your Hydro or Electro unit is the on-field damage-dealing unit.

With all the characters and team comps mentioned above, it is evident that Nahida Hyperbloom teams are extremely flexible and versatile. Therefore, it is suggested that you consider building and using characters out of these recommendations based on your preference and playstyle.

It is generally recommended that you build Nahida in a 4-piece Deepwood Memories Artifact set, mainly focusing on giving her as much Elemental Mastery and Crit Stats as possible.

If you are using Nahida as an off-field character, where she uses her skill and burst, and then the main damage-dealing unit like Yae Miko, Childe, or Ayato takes the stage, you must try and reach as close to 1,000 Elemental Mastery as possible, as that is the amount you need to maximize her damage potential.

Alternatively, if you are using her as an on-field character, where she is using her Normal Attacks as well, you can make use of around 800 Elemental Mastery as well.

As for your Electro characters in this team composition, since they are the ones who will be triggering the Hyperbloom reaction, all you must do is ensure that they have as much Elemental Mastery as possible through artifacts and weapons.

Rotation

  1. Nahida skill and burst: Start by casting Nahida’s Elemental Skill and Burst to mark enemies with Dendro.
  2. Hydro application: Use your Hydro character's skill/burst to generate Dendro Cores through Bloom.
  3. Electro reaction: Apply Electro via Raiden/Fischl/Yae to trigger Hyperbloom explosions.
  4. Switch to your main on-field character to deal damage while the Hyperblooms are being triggered.
  5. Repeat cycle: Refresh Nahida’s Elemental Skill to mark the enemies again for continuous core generation and explode them by applying Electro.
