Nomad is equipped with two secondary gadgets that perfectly complement both her aggressive and passive playstyles.

Breach charges, on the other hand, offer soft breach capabilities, which can be beneficial when playing with a team and taking map control accordingly. These secondary gadgets can open up soft walls and hatches or create vertical pressure on defenders playing on lower floors on a map.

How to play Nomad in Rainbow Six Siege

Nomad is an Operator who offers plenty of benefits in any attacker lineup she is included in.

While playing her during the drone phase, you must place your drone in strategic positions that either give intel on defender positions or cover an area that needs consistent surveillance.

During the action phase, whatever your playstyle is, make sure that your survivability is the primary focus until all of your Airjab launchers have been deployed. Coordinate with your team to ensure the Airjabs are deployed in necessary positions to cover appropriate flanks or cut off backup routes of flankers.

After your Airjabs have been deployed, assist the team with your preferred playstyle. You can take on a fragger role with flashes to help your team clear angles and take down roamers. Alternatively, you can assist the team with breach charges to open up angles for the objective and play passively.

An important thing to note about the Airjabs is that they only trigger when a defender is standing, crouching, or prone. Defenders running out of a window and still in mid-air will not trigger an Airjab. Therefore, placing your primary gadget above windows on higher floors will not optimally activate it.
