Stalker 2 takes players across a vast map based on the real-life Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, a place where a deadly nuclear disaster in 1986 left the area uninhabitable by humans for the next thousands of years. The mod in question is "Optimization Essentials" and has been developed by Nexusmods user TheHybred. Applying the mod helps reduce stuttering, loading times, ghosting, and much more. Furthermore, the pesky graphical issues will also be improved thanks to Unreal Engine effects being improved in terms of visuals and graphics.

As can be seen in the video, the gains are in the ballpark of 25% on 4K (2160p) and 1440p graphical resolutions. Compared to other presently available mods, it also ranks highest in terms of average FPS and in 1% lows.

The mod can also be extremely beneficial for gamers playing on lower-end hardware. This is because it can provide significant boosts to performance, and as a result, ensure a better balance between graphical fidelity and FPS.
