The best Strength-Faith buildin Elden Ring allows you to use some of the most colossal weapons, while also granting access to powerful Incantations. Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is just a few days away from being released. Thus, unless you've already done so, you have very little time to finalize your build.

Although almost every single weapon type and build is viable in Elden Ring, there are a few that are just, well, better compared to others, either in terms of their "coolness" factor, or combat efficiency. One such build that you can go for while preparing for Shadow of the Erdtree is the Strength-Faith hybrid. Additionally, you can invest in the Strength-Faith build pretty early in the game.

Here's a look at one of the best and most overpowered Strength-Faith builds in Elden Ring that we highly recommend for the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Best Strength-Faith build weapons in Elden Ring

If you decide to start your journey towards a Strength-Faith build, I highly recommend picking the Confessor, which will give you a slight boost in both Strength and Faith attributes. Additionally, the Confessor is one of the few starting options that come with a 100% damage negation shield, which will be very helpful in the early sections of Elden Ring.

For your starting weapons, you can either stick with the default Broadsword with the Bloody Slash Ash of War or choose another affinity that suits your playstyle. The build I found to be super effective against most of the end-game boss roster was a Level 160 character, armed with the Blasphemous Blade.

Best Strength-Faith build stats in Elden Ring

While you can take your build as far as you want, I think Level 150 to 170 is a perfect choice for the DLC, allowing you to acquire enough points to spend on your core attributes (Vigor, Endurance, and Mind) while also leaving plenty to invest into your primary combat-oriented stat. Additionally, I highly recommend upgrading your weapons to max.

Here are the stats you should be looking at for the best Strength-Faith build in Elden Ring:

  • Vigor: 50
  • Mind: 21
  • Endurance: 40
  • Strength: 45
  • Dexterity: 30
  • Intelligence: 9
  • Faith: 55
  • Arcane: 9

How to create the best Strength-Faith build in Elden Ring?

Here's a breakdown of the Strength-Faith build I recommend for Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC:

Best Weapons for Strength-Faith build

  • Blasphemous Blade (+10)
  • Clawmark Seal (+25)

Best Talismans for Strength-Faith build

  • Erdtree's Favor +2
  • Shard of Alexander
  • Starscourge Heirloom
  • Two Fingers Heirloom

Best Incantations for Strength-Faith build

  • Flame, Grant Me Strength
  • Black Flame's Protection
  • Beastial Vitality
  • Golden Vow
  • Death Lightning

Best Armor-set for Strength-Faith build

  • Cleanrot Knight set (You can pick any armor with good defensive attributes)

While I recommend the Blasphemous Blade due to its synergy with Flame, you can also pick Grant Me Strength, and its weapon art, Taker's Flame, which also has health steal properties. If you want a Colossal weapon for more poise and higher DPS, you can choose Maliketh's Black Blade.

Incantations, Flame, Grant Me Strength, Beastial Vitality, and Black Flame's Protection are necessary for this build, as they not only buff your core attributes but also give you passive healing. For the fourth Incantation I chose Death Lightning for its AOE properties, but you can choose any other Incantation if you want in its place.
