Feast of Pursuit is a new battle event currently active during the second half of Genshin Impact version 5.1. It includes six stages of combat, each available in four different difficulties. Players can undertake these challenges anytime before the event ends on November 15, 2024. Completing the combat stages at various difficulties will reward participants with Primogems and many other in-game resources.

Considering the challenges in the Feast of Pursuit event are quite difficult, players will want to use proper team compositions that are suitable against the enemy lineup and can utilize the available buffs.

The Feast of Pursuit event can be started from the events page in the title. From there, you can teleport to the combat arena where and select the stages and difficulty. The first stage is called Vines Are His Arrows and can be attempted at the following difficulties:

  • Perilous
  • Quandary
  • Desperate
  • Steadfast

While the Perilous, Quandary, and Desperate variants of the challenge feature Shadowy Husks, Saurians, and Vishaps, the Steadfast option pits the players against Maguu Kenkis.

Stage 1 of the challenge includes the following Pursuit Providence and Nemesis Empowerment:

  • Pursuit Providence: After characters trigger Dendro-related reactions 30 times on opponents, the Elemental Mastery or all party members increases by 400.
  • Nemesis Empowerment: After the challenge begins, Thunderstrikes will descend near the active character's position every 10s, dealing Electro DMG and applying Engulfing Storm to the character: drains 3 Energy every one second until the inflicted Electro element is removed.

Players will fight against Mirror Maiden, Eremite Stone Enchanter, Eremite Scorching Loremaster, and Wayob Manifestations in the Perilous, Quandary, and Desperate difficulties. As for the Steadfast difficulty, players will have to defeat Tenebrous Mimiflora.

Travelers will face Ruin Drake, Ruin Guard, and Construction Specialist Mek when undertaking this challenge in the first three difficulties. The Feast of Pursuit event's stage 4 in Genshin Impact is called Heart of the Boulder. The enemy lineup for the first three difficulties of this level includes Praetorian Golem, Thunderhelm and Frostarm Lawachurls, along with Construction Specialist Mek. As for the highest difficulty, the opponent will be Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device.

When playing at either Perilous, Quandary, or Desperate difficulties, Travelers will go up against various Ruin machines like Ruin Guard, Ruin Grader, Ruin Scout, and Ruin Drake: Earthguard. Attempting the Steadfast difficulty will then pit them against the Battle-Hardened Tent Tortoise.

  • Pursuit Providence: After characters trigger Nightsoul Burst two time(s), the DMG dealt by the active character increases by 100%.
  • Nemesis Empowerment: When the active character is within the Duel Zone of an elite opponent, that character's DMG will be increased by 20%. When they are outside such a Duel Zone, they will take DMG every two seconds.

Based on the above information, it is crucial to bring in a Natlan character on the team to trigger the Nightsoul Burst mechanic and gain buffs in this round. Moreover, when going up against the Battle-Hardened Tent Tortoise, characters from the Dendro, Pyro, and Cryo elements are needed to break the foe's shield. The first three difficulties of this challenge feature Meks, Primal Constructs, Ruin Grader, and Ruin Drake. As for the highest difficulty, Travelers will have to go up against the Jadeplume Terrorshroom.

The Pursuit Providence and Nemesis Empowerment for this round offers the following effects:

  • Pursuit Providence: After characters use Elemental Bursts five time(s), the DMG dealt by all party members' Elemental Bursts increases by 80% and their Energy Recharge increases by 50%.
  • Nemesis Empowerment: The HP percentage of all opponents affected by this will change every 20s: After changing, all their HP% values will be the same as the HP% of the affected opponent with the highest current HP%.
