Best teams for Simulated Universe World 5 in Honkai Star Rail

Simulated Universe is currently one of the two endgame activities that Honkai Star Rail players can take part in. Ranging across multiple enemy types, stages, and bosses, players will need to create all kinds of characters if they truly want to dominate the battlefield.

The World 5 stage of the Simulated Universe is considered to be the first true endgame stage, requiring players to have a team with a minimum level of 55 or 60 for Difficulty I. Completing any of the stages initially will drop a total of 600 Trailblaze XP, 120 Stellar Jades, two Star Rail Pass, and two Herta Bonds.

1) Enemies and their weaknesses

The recommended elements for this Simulated Universe include Wind, Imaginary, and Physical. It should also be noted that the final boss, Kafka, is also weak in the aforementioned elements. Other enemies in the early stages, such as a Blaze out of Space or a Guardian Shadow, are weak Ice and Quantum damage, respectively.

However, keeping either of the three elements mentioned above will work for the entirety of your World 5 run, as enemies always tend to have multiple weaknesses corresponding to the final boss.

Aside from Kafka, some of the other enemies that you will encounter are as follows:

• Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter (weak to Ice, Wind, and Imaginary).
• Blaze out of Space (weak to Physical, Ice, and Quantum).
• Guardian Shadow (weak to Physical, Quantum, and Wind).
• Void ranger: Trampler (Centaur elite, weak to Physical, Wind, and Imaginary).
• Silvermane Soldiers

2) Team compositions

Based on the enemy weaknesses mentioned in the first point, the characters to prioritize should be evident. However, since Welt is the only Imaginary character in the game right now, there are plenty of windows to adjust the overall damage output. However, let us go over the best team you can have to crack this particular Simulated Universe.

The combination of Welt, Clara, Natasha, and Dan Heng will provide the most optimal results against Kafka. However, before entering any elite or boss stage, the game will let you pick a separate team for the upcoming encounter. You can select different teams based on the enemy's weaknesses.

For example, the Guardian Shadow Elite will be weak against Physical, Quantum, and Wind elements. Hence, keeping either Sushang or Selee as single-target DPS characters won't be such a bad idea.

Note that there will also be enemies like the Voidranger, whose weaknesses will include Imaginary and Wind. This calls for either Dan Heng or Welt since Sushang won't be able to break their shields.

When it comes to F2P teams, the combination of Dan Heng, Natasha, Asta, and Fire Trailblazer will prove to be the most viable.

Your main DPS here will be Dan Heng, with Natasha being the healer and damage dealer to Kafka's shield. Asta's job will be to cast her ultimate, avoiding Kafka's attacks as much as possible. Fire Trailblazer will be your team's tank, diverting the fire away from your allies.
