Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans are among the most formidable defenses that guard your base from enemies' attacks. What differentiates them from other defenses is that their damage output continuously increases as they keep damaging a target within their range. A single targeted Inferno Tower's damage per second (DPS) begins from 65. If the target remains under its range, this damage increases to a whopping 1800, enough to easily take down a powerful troop in the game.
Because of this colossal damage output, they become a big hindrance on your way toward three-staring an enemy base. Unless properly dealt with, a single targeted Inferno Tower can eat up your multiple prime troops, resulting in your defeat.
This article discusses a few tips and tricks for dealing with Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans.

Take down Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans as a priority
Here are the stats of an Inferno Tower upgraded to level 7:
- Hitpoints: 3300
- Damage per second: 65 to 1800
- Range: 9 Tiles
- Damage type: Single target
- Targets: Ground and air
Here are a few ways to destroy Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans:
1) Spells
Using spells on defenses like Inferno Towers can greatly help in destroying them. However, note that using the Lightning Spells to take down these defenses beforehand isn't a good idea. Because of the towers' high hitpoints, it takes at least four Lightning Spells to destroy a single Inferno Tower.
Instead, you can drop a single Lightning Spell on the same to restart its increasing damage each time its DPS gets high.
Besides Lightning Spells, you can also use the Frozen Spells or Overgrowth Spells to make Inferno Towers impotent for a certain period. In the meantime, you can deploy a troop near them to take them down.
2) Frozen Arrow
Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans can also be dealt with Frozen Arrow, the Archer Queen's recently released equipment. It grants the queen a passive ability to slow down its target for a certain period.
However, remember to upgrade this equipment to a high level before using it on the battleground, as low-level Hero Equipment is of no use in a raid for seasoned players. Keep in mind that upgrading it will increase its slow-down duration.
The main issue with facing Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans is their increasing damage. Pitting the Archer Queen equipped with the Frozen Arrow against the same will slow down or restart their growing damage, buying the Hero enough time to destroy the towers.
3) Puppet Equipment
Another excellent way to deal with Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans is using Heroes' Puppet Equipment, such as the Archer Puppet, Barbarian Puppet, or Hog Rider Puppet Equipment. These gears grant Heroes the active ability to summon a horde of small troops, including Archers, Barbarians, and Hog Riders.
Equip your Heroes with these gears and hit their active ability the moment they near Inferno Towers. You can also use them to distract these defenses from attacking your prime troops.
Puppet Equipment can be useful when we're talking about a single targeted Inferno Tower. The equipment near them will deploy multiple small troops within the tower's range, preventing the building from attacking the prime troops of your army.
