What are the best tips to use M.E.C.H.A. in Clash of Clans?
M.E.C.H.A. takes up only 10 housing spaces compared to P.E.K.K.A.’s 25, making it easier for players to incorporate more of them into their army. While it doesn't deal as much damage as P.E.K.K.A., M.E.C.H.A. has a higher hit point and moves faster. However, its smaller size makes it susceptible to Spring Traps.
Here are the required tips to use this unit:
- Tank and wall breaker combo: Use M.E.C.H.A. as both a tank and a wall breaker. Deploy it to the front lines to absorb damage and break through walls, similar to how you might use a Super Giant. This will create an effective path for the rest of your troops to follow.
- Spell management: Due to its fast movement speed, M.E.C.H.A. can quickly outrun your other troops, making spell timing crucial. Use Rage and Healing spells strategically to keep M.E.C.H.A. healthy as it pushes deeper into the base. An early Grand Warden's ability can also provide essential protection.
- Pairing with other troops: Deploy Wizards or other damage-dealing troops behind M.E.C.H.A. to clear out non-defensive buildings. This ensures that M.E.C.H.A. focuses solely on its primary defenses.
- Funneling: Create a funnel using Siege Barracks on one side and your Archer Queen with Healers on the other. This strategy will direct M.E.C.H.A. and your main attack force straight into the heart of the enemy base.
- Handling core defenses: Use Earthquake and Jump spells to open up compartments deep within the base. Once the path is clear, unleash M.E.C.H.A. units alongside your Barbarian King and Grand Warden to dismantle defenses quickly.
- Support unit: Keep in mind that M.E.C.H.A. will ignore defending Clan Castle troops and Heroes, focusing solely on defenses. Consider using other troops or spells to handle enemy Heroes that could otherwise chip away at M.E.C.H.A.’s health.
