The principal fun aspect in FIFA 20 Career Mode is definitely when the trade window opens. Renewal of contracts, negotiating deals, scouting and trying to find the perfect fit are what makes FIFA 20’s Career Mode exciting.
Just like FIFA Ultimate Team, FIFA 20 Career Mode allows you to create your Dream Team but the major difference being that there are no coins or cards involved, just pure dealing and stipulated deadlines. It may be a slower process but it gets you potentially closer to get a feel of how deals may be taking place in the real world. Another aspect where the Career Mode trumps FUT is the fact that you can also manage an international side while managing your club so you get the experience of selecting and shortlisting the entire squad for international tournaments. While trying to win the UEFA Champions League, you could also end up following that up with the Euro Championship or CONCACAF or above all else, the FIFA World Cup itself.
EA Sports may have not done the best job in terms of improving the FIFA game franchise with FIFA 20 as Volta was an extreme disappointment and nothing like the original FIFA Street games (1 & 2), but they are slowly but surely improving the Manager Mode setup.
The players shared in this article can be used regardless of the approach you take in terms on Managership because at the end of the day, good players will remain good players. Do be mindful to always keep a close check on Free Agency. You’d be surprised at how many “hidden gems” or one season wonders you might find who could make the difference.
For those who have not begun their Manager Mode yet, good luck! This should come in handy. Whereas for those who have already kicked off and are into a few years of their Managing careers, do make the most of this list to try and strengthening your squads.
Happy gaming!
