Best Wuthering Waves 1.4 characters ranked

Kuro Games recently announced the official line-up of the upcoming characters in the Wuthering Waves 1.4 update. In this update, players can expect Camellya as the new featured 5-star Resonator in the first phase, whereas Yinlin and Xiangli Yao will be featured on their rerun banners in the second phase. They are all great units with their own unique playstyles that perform exceptionally well in their respective roles.

Xiangli Yao is a great choice for players who need a strong Electro main DPS. His skills allow him to deal consistent damage, making him a reliable option. However, he was originally a free character in the 1.2 update, so many players already have him on their rosters.

To maximize his potential, though, he requires synergy with support units, such as Yinlin, who is also scheduled to have a rerun in this update. While his damage output is respectable, Xiangli Yao’s dependence on specific support Resonators to reach his full potential can be a drawback.

As an incredible Electro sub-DPS unit, Yinlin is capable of dealing significant damage on the field and swapping out quickly, allowing her to unleash her coordinated attacks that eliminate multiple enemies. She can provide your characters with a massive Electro DMG buff, making her one of the best support units, especially for any Electro main-DPS Resonators like Calcharo or Xiangli Yao.

Yinlin is an easy-to-build character who is also future-proof and will be extremely useful for many upcoming future characters and teams. Therefore, she is a character that you can invest your resources in.

Camellya is the new 5-star Resonator featured in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 1.4 update. She is also the first 5-star Havoc main DPS unit, apart from the Havoc Rover, to be introduced into the game. According to Camellya's gameplay leaks from various reliable sources, she appears to have a unique playstyle where she will be capable of switching between multiple fighting styles and dealing a high amount of damage in a wide AoE.

Camellya is expected to be a strong yet interesting character that Rovers must look out for in the upcoming update of Wuthering Waves.
