Wuthering Waves Xiangli Yao team guide

1) Xiangli Yao+ Yinlin+ Verina

This team requires Xiangli Yao to be the primary DPS, as his basic role is to deal massive Electro damage via Resonance Liberation. Hence, he will benefit the most from having Yinlin on the team as a sub-DPS. She is a strong 5-star unit who can also boost Electro damage and Resonance Liberation DMG of the next character taking action.

Hence, you should keep her active on the field for some time before swapping over to Xianli Yao to ensure he receives all the buffs from her Outro Skill in Wuthering Waves. While both the 5-stars are busy dealing damage to the opponent, Verina will protect them with her healing abilities. She can also buff their damage with her Outro Skill, which is an added benefit.

2) Xiangli Yao+ Jianxin+ Verina

Remember that Jianxin can double as a sub-DPS and support. After all, she can inflict damage while providing a barrier to her allies. Hence, Xiangli Yao’s survivability will peak with the versatile Aero 5-star unit and a powerful healer like Verina on the team.

Lastly, you can build Xiangli Yao in Wuthering Waves as a rotational DPS to use his Ultimate before swapping over to another damage dealer. Changli is ideal for the second lead since she thrives at dealing burst Fusion DMG before you switch to another Resonator.

That said, the DPS in this team don't dovetail with each other, so pick anyone to begin the rotation. The purpose of the setup is to simply batter the enemies with pure damage. Needless to say, Verina is a reliable healer, and she will be required to ensure the safety of both Xiangli Yao and Changli throughout the battle.
