In order to play Zero effectively in Rainbow Six Siege, players must have an in-depth knowledge of the map. Using his primary gadget, Argus Launcher, requires a deep understanding of how it interacts with different map environments. With a recent buff, Zero is now able to deploy up to six Argus cameras, that assist the entire team with intel and anti-gadget capabilities.

During the drone phase at the start of a round, utilize your drone aggressively to get a rough idea of the Defender lineup and their objective setup. Saving a drone is not a necessity for Zero, as he has his Argus cameras to provide him the required information.

During the action phase, survival is your primary objective. Make sure the secondary gadgets and your cameras have been deployed in the required high-priority areas, before taking risky gunfights.

For large maps, you must deploy your Argus camera to areas where Defenders can be found lurking or holding angles. This will allow the camera operators to view Defender positions and approach the objective accordingly.

A noteworthy feature of the Argus cameras is that they can be rotated to view the other side of a deployed surface. This allows players to survey two different perspectives and provide ample intel to the Attacker team. An unlimited amount of lasers can be fired from the camera; however, they have a cooldown timer after every shot.
