Two objectives that you must complete for Beyond the Red Meat Part 1 in Escape from Tarkov are:

• Find and secure the information regarding culinary secrets at the Beluga restaurant on Streets of Tarkov.
• Hand the diary over to Skier.

Follow the steps detailed below to complete Beyond the Red Meat Part 1 in Escape from Tarkov:

• Firstly, purchase the “Beluga restaurant director key” from the flea market if you don’t have it, since the diary can spawn inside the director’s room. Depending on the time of the wipe, the key’s price will vary. After getting the key, make sure it’s in your secure container so it doesn’t get lost if you get eliminated.
• Now, load into Streets of Tarkov with the appropriate gear. After you spawn in, head towards Klimov Street where the Beluga restaurant is located. If you don’t know the map well, we recommend using a map to navigate through Streets of Tarkov.
• When you reach Beluga, look for the Chef’s Diary.

The quest item has multiple spawns, four to be precise. The four spawns are:

Spawn One

The first spawn is on the second floor of the restaurant. When you go to the second floor, behind the oval bar you can see the diary in between two towels.

For the second spawn, you have to go to the third floor. Below the main bar, you can see the Chef’s diary on the shelf.

The third spawn is in the kitchen on the same floor. The diary can be seen peeking through a cabinet door near the sink that's attached to a counter. You have to get close and press the interact keybind to pick it up.

To check the fourth spawn, you will need the Beluga restaurant director key. Open the Director's room using the key and go inside. On the wooden shelf on the left side, the diary spawns in between some file cabinets and a small box.

When you have the diary, extract from the map with the quest item and hand it over to Skier.

• Unlocks the AK CSS changing handle on Skier at Loyalty Level 3
