Borussia Dortmund follows a 4-2-3-1 Wide formation with a Short Passing Build-up and High Defensive Approach. Even though the formation doesn't have any traditional wingers, Karim Adeyemi and Donyell Malen have Inside Forward+ roles to act as inverted wingers.

On the contrary, RB Leipzig follows the traditional 4-2-2-2 formation with no wingers. They adopt the Counter Build-up style while maintaining a High Defensive Approach. In such a formation, both side-backs must go up on the field to keep the option open on the wing. This is why Raum and Henrichs have the Attacking Wingback+ and Wingback+ preset roles, respectively.
