Dinogod's first game, Bounty Star, has just been unveiled at the Annapurna Interactive showcase, and it's an all-new third-person shooter where you pilot Titanfall-like mechs. But in your downtime, base-building and farming give this game an exciting survival element.
What is Bounty Star?
Bounty Star is a 3D action game with an over-the-shoulder view that combines mech battle and customization with farming and base development. The player assumes the character of Clem, a military veteran, skilled warrior, and adept mech pilot. Clem tries to overcome her previous guilt and humiliation in the Red Expanse, a post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest.
What is the lore of Bounty Star?
The full title of Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem offers a far more vivid picture of what this game is about. You take on the role of Clementine McKinney, an ex-soldier and war veteran seeking to spend her dying days in her post-apocalyptic desert home. When mercenary gangs attack her home, she jumps back into her mech and does her best: kick some ass. A clip from the game depicts part of the game's combat, which appears to take place entirely in a mech.
Bounty Star Gameplay
Bounty Star has several aspects in its gameplay just like any other game. Three major points of the gameplay and mechanics of Bounty Star are mentioned below -
Customizable Mech Action
You command the Desert Raptor MKII, a mighty Mech. It is a highly adaptable fighting vehicle with various offensive systems such as hefty, high-powered melee weapons, steam-powered hydraulic siege weaponry, explosive rifles, and more. It may also be outfitted with multiple defense systems, including high-speed thrusters, dashing boosters, and riot shields.
Become a Bounty Hunter
The Red Expanse is a prosperous agricultural and trading region beset by vicious criminals and frightening monsters. The remaining government outsources justice to professionals like Clem—bounty hunters who can follow their targets into whatever dangerous corners of the planet they hide in. She'll fight her way across the territory, dealing with these markings as she sees appropriate.
Repair and Upgrade Your Homestead
Clem enters a remote, run-down garage that serves as a viable base of operations and home—barely. Build water and electricity lines, grow and prepare food, manufacture ammo and war fuel, and rear animals. This dilapidated wreck has enormous promise, but it must develop alongside Clem.
