The return of Mega Boxes is the highlight of the Classic Brawl event. These special boxes can be collected by earning 12 Star Tokens, which are awarded for the first win of the day in some particular game modes. Additionally, Star Tokens can be obtained from Special Quests on weekends and a Challenge later in the event.
Mega Boxes are valued for their ability to contain multiple items, including Brawlers, skins (such as the new Classic and Rico’s Hypercharge skin and its Chromas), cosmetics, and resources like Gems. Players can either open them immediately or save them for a larger unboxing session later.
One of the event’s major attractions is the opportunity to obtain the Sovereign Rico Hypercharge skin for free by collecting 10 Mega Boxes during the event.
New game modes in Brawl Stars
The Classic Brawl event introduces two exciting new game modes: Mirror Match and Drum Roll.
- Mirror Match: In this mode, all players use the same Brawler, which rotates every few hours. The Brawler pool for this mode consists of the first 21 Brawlers released in the game, adding a nostalgic element to the battles.
- Drum Roll: This unique mode changes a player’s Brawler every time they defeat an opponent. Players progress through a set list of Brawlers and victory is achieved when they defeat another player with the final Brawler on the list.
Both Mirror Match and Drum Roll will rotate daily and feature the Classic modifier. This modifier caps Brawlers at level 9, restricts them to their first Star Power, and disables the use of Hypercharges and Gadgets, ensuring a traditional gameplay experience.
