Supercell has released the Brawl Stars Classic Brawl update, introducing two new Brawlers, hyperchanges, a time-limited Classic Brawl event, and some character reworks. Note that the patch's content was unveiled in a Brawl Talk on June 22, 2024. Finally, the patch has been incorporated into the game after a brief maintenance break.

The following are the features of the Brawl Stars Classic Brawl update:
1) New brawlers
Clancy:
A damage dealer-type brawler, Clancy is a mythic character who gains a token when he hits an enemy brawler with his ability. After collecting a certain number of these tokens, he upgrades through stages, improving his attacks.
Berry:
A support-type brawler, Berry is an epic character who charges his Super from healing as well as dealing damage. With his Meltdown ability, he throws melted ice cream at his enemies, dealing damage and healing allies on the impact.
2) Brawler reworks
Frank: With the decrease in this brawler's health, his attack speed will increase.
MEG: While in her mecha, this brawler's basic attacks will now shoot more projectiles. However, MEG's damage output and range has been reduced.
Chester: This brawler's Star Power Bell'o'mania is now a part of her basic attack loadout, meaning he will now have four stages for his attack sequence by default. Moreover, Chester has been given a new star power, Single Bell'o'mania, allowing his first bell of attack sequence a damage output of 200%.
3) New hypercharges
Barley: Bottled up rage
- This will allow Barley to throw three big brews which will destroy all bushes on impact.
Piper: Boppin'
- Piper will now depart at an increased speed and deploy more bombs. Moreover, upon her landing, she will destroy terrain and knock enemies.
Frank: Seismic Smash
- This brawler's Super will now hit an entire circle around him.
Emz: Overhyped Haze
- Upon activation, Emz will shove foes to her Super's outer edge.
Angelo: In My Element
- During Hypercharge, Angelo's Super will follow him.
Gale: Blizzard
- This brawler's Super is relatively wider and attacks twice, dealing lethal damage to enemies.
Rico: Trick Shot King
- Rico's Super projectiles ricochet even further.
4) New event: Classic Brawl
Mega Boxes
Mega Boxes can be unlocked by collecting Star Tokens from a first win in selected and featured game modes. These boxes contain coins, Power Points, Bling, Gems, XP Doublers, Brawlers, Player Icons, Pins, Skins, and the Rico Hypercharge skin.
Classic game mode: Drum Roll
Drum Roll is a game mode where every player starts with the same Brawler. Moreover, in this mode, each takedown transforms you into a different Brawler in a set chain. You must reach the final takedown with the last Brawler in the chain to win a match.
Classic game mode: Mirror March
In this mode, every player uses the same Brawler. Also, the mirrored Brawlers will be changed throughout the event. Here are the brawlers featured in this mode:
- Barley
- Brock
- Bull
- Colt
- Crow
- Dynamike
- El Primo
- Jessie
- Mortis
- Nita
- Poco
- Rico
- Shelly
- Spike
- Piper
- Pam
- Darryl
- Penny
- Frank

5) Balance changes
Buffs
- Brock: Brock’s Hypercharge damage has been increased from 500 to 750 per rocket. However, his increased Hypercharge Super rocket will spread slightly.
- Janet: Janet’s increased main attack damage has been increased from 980 to 1000.
- Maisie: Maisie’s Increased Super charge has been increased from Super 112 to 125.
- Hank: Hank’s Increased health has been increased from 5400 to 5600.
Nerfs
- Draco: When Draco’s Super is activated, his damage reduction will be 15% instead of 25%.
- Angelo: To charge Super, Angelo will require more basic attacks.
- Charlie: Charlie’s damage output has been reduced from 800 to 760.
- Sandy: Sandy’s Hypercharge charge speed is now 2.5 Supers.
- Rico: Rico’s Multiball Launcher gadget’s damage output has been reduced from 1024 to 896.
- Melodie: Melodie’s health has been reduced from 4100 to 3600.
6) Map and Environment changes
Environments
- Removed: Love Swamp, Enchanted Forest, Super City, and Godzilla
- Added: Deep Sea, Candy Land, and Darryl’s Ship.
Maps
The number of maps in rotation in certain game modes has been increased in the Brawl Stars Classic Brawl update. These are the changes done in the maps:
- Bounty: Flank Attack and Iris Intervention have been added
- Brawl Ball: Spider Crawler, Offside Trap, Penalty Kick, and Pinball Dreams have been added
- Gem Grab: Sneaky Sneak, Ahead of the Curve, Double Swoosh, and Minecart Madness have been added
- Heist: Diamond Dome and Double Locking have been added
- Hot zone: Reflections and Local Businesses have been added
- Knockout: Dragon Jaws, Twilight Passage, Hard Lane, and Island Hopping have been added
- Showdown: Leaping Frogs, Final Four, Flying Fantasies, and Safety Center have been added
- Wipeout: Spice Production and Coconut Cove have been added, whereas The Great Open and Quad Damage have been removed.
7) Bug fixes
- A big has been fixed which was preventing a brawler from getting defeated when hit by an insta-takedown amount of damage.
- The attack and walking animations for Godzilla Buzz skins in Hypercharge form have been fixed.
- Melodie’s Super progress will stay after respawning.
- The bug that was preventing the “Free Fire” notification from popping up in the Shop has been fixed.
- The bug that was showing the “New” notification all the time in the Shop has been fixed.
