Gale's main attack, Polar Vortex, unleashes six long-range snowballs in a wide, straight line. Each snowball deals low damage, but the spread allows Gale to cover a broad area to hit multiple enemies. Due to the spreading nature of these six projectiles, it becomes tough to aim at a single opponent, thereby decreasing the effectiveness of the attack.

Typically, four snowballs will hit a standard-sized target like a Brawler or the Heist safe at close range but will expose Gale to the opponent's fire. Thus, his optimal range is about eight tiles away from the enemy where he can keep his distance and chip away at their health.

It's essential to keep at least one ammo bar in reserve for defensive purposes, especially against aggressive Brawlers who have high mobility in Brawl Stars.

Brawl Stars Gale guide to optimize his Super usage

Gale's Super, Gale Force, generates a powerful gust of wind and snow that travels up to 8.33 tiles, passing through obstacles and pushing enemies back. It also deals minor damage. However, his Super should be used with caution, especially against Brawlers who can out-damage or out-range Gale. It's best to use the Super when the enemy is close to push them into walls.

Hot Zone is a game mode where Gale's Super shines, as it pushes enemies away from the capture zones, giving Gale's team time to heal and regroup.

Brawl Stars Gale guide to utilize both gadgets

Gale's first gadget, called Spring Ejector, spawns a Launchpad that can be used to propel Brawlers six tiles in the direction it faces. The pad is yellow and can be hidden in bushes, and it lasts indefinitely until replaced or destroyed.

This gadget is particularly useful for quickly reaching objectives or creating unpredictable movements with strategic placement to keep enemies guessing. Note that enemies can also use the Launchpad, so positioning it in a way that benefits only your team is crucial.

The second gadget, Twister, creates a small tornado with a two-tile radius that pushes enemies back and prevents them from passing through. The tornado lasts for five seconds, and activating the gadget again will remove the previous one.

Twister is primarily a defensive tool, excellent for holding choke points or protecting objectives in game modes like Hot Zone. It’s also effective in Brawl Ball, where it can disarm opponents by making them drop the ball or block their path.

Blustery Blow is the first Star Power that enhances Gale's Super by stunning enemies for 1.25 seconds if they are pushed into obstacles. This Star Power is most effective on maps replete with walls and obstacles, where Gale can consistently push enemies into surfaces to trigger the stun. It also provides a valuable escape mechanism, as stunning pursuers can give Gale the time needed to retreat.

On the other hand, Freezing Star Power slows down enemies hit by his main attack for 0.5 seconds. It is ideal for open maps, where the slowdown effect can make it easier to land shots and keep foes at bay.

Brawl Stars Gale guide to master Hypercharge usage

Gale's Hypercharge enhances the range of his Super by two tiles and adds a second gust of wind and snow that pushes enemies even farther. Additionally, he gains a 26% speed boost, a 15% damage boost, and a 15% shield boost when Hypercharged.

It should be combined with Blustery Blow Star Power to increase the chances of pushing enemies into walls and stunning them.
