The latest Call of Duty edition, Advanced Warfare which is slated to release in November, will be able to take advantage of the latest technology in the field of gaming consoles. According to reports,Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey says that the game's three-year development cycle, and it’s focus only on the current-gen versions, allowed studio to get the most out of the new hardware. This was possible as the developer Sledgehammer Games, made this version keeping PS4 and Xbox One in mind.Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey explained that due to this ‘singular’ focus and a strategy of developing the game over a lengthy period of three years, the game was able to take the full advantage of the power of these latest systems and because of the time timen, hopes are high that this title will prov to be a landmark in the series with users being able to experience the difference.
"We really have to thank Activision, not just for the extra year, but for the singular focus.Three years to get to next gen.The current gen game(and there's more news to come about that) never got in the way of our ambitions, it never stopped us from being super-creative about taking full advantage of the next-gen hardware." Condrey told Official Xbox Magazine. The PS 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are being developed at High Moon Studios and this prevented Sledhammer from going through the trouble of developing all the five versions simultaneously. "It decoupled us from worrying about having to do a split-platform year, like titles had to last year.So that was really refreshing, and gave us some freedom to really go after this one." In addition to this, this new version of Call of Duty has more hi-tech gadgets and weapons. This is the only title in the series which has been in production and developement for 3 years. If it’s going to be worth the wait is to be seen on November 4th.Check out the System Requirements for Call of Duty-Advanced Warfare.
